- Ray Gaddis returns to the starting XI, making his first start since September 23 at FC Cincinnati.
- Homegrown Mark McKenzie makes his 45th appearance for the Union with a start at center back. McKenzie scored his first professional goal last time out and recently was ranked No. 3 in MLSSoccer.com's 22 Under 22 list.
- Fellow homegrown Brenden Aaronson makes his 45th career start for the Boys in Blue. Aaronson claimed the No. 1 spot in the 22 Under 22 list.
- Midfielder Jose "El Brujo" Martinez returns to the starting XI after missing the last four contests due to international duty with Venezuela. His last start came on the road against Toronto FC earlier this month.
- Kacper Przybylko makes his 45th career start for the Union. Przybylko has 22 goals in 45 career appearances for the Union which ranks fourth most in club history alongside Ilsinho.
