Philadelphia Union's special camouflage military top that will the team will wear against Houston Dynamo on August 11th has caught the eyes of fans and even SoccerBible.
In a feature showcasing Fafa Picault in the new top, the new merchandise if just one element of the Union's plans to honor the brave men and women of the United States.
"The Military Appreciation jersey will be rolled out to all teams in the MLS but Philadelphia Union are taking their support of Military Appreciation further," the online article said. "Hosting a special soccer tournament called Battle of the Branches. It’s set to be a 5-a-side tournament with teams made up of active and former military personnel on Battleship New Jersey, a former Navy battleship that is permanently docked just outside of Philadelphia."
