Think back to where you were a year ago today? In Philadelphia Union history March 12, 2018, was the day that the club announced the signing of its first esports competitor, Cormac "Doolsta" Dooley.
After reaching the Eastern Conference semifinals at the inaugural eMLS Cup, Doolsta has been on a role in 2019. The 18-year-old knocked off defending eMLS Cup champion Kid M3mito at eMLS League Series One with a thrilling 4-3 victory that snapped the champ's 33-game unbeaten streak. With a target on his back, Doolsta picked up another title by overcoming a deficit in the final at eMLS League Series Two in Dallas.
Doolsta has his sights set on completing the eMLS circuit sweep later this month in Boston. He' accomplished so much in his first year and can cement his name in esports lore with another title on March 30.
