PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
2019 (Philadelphia): After joining midseason, Allen appeared in his first matchday squad with the Union vs. his former club, Orlando (July 3) ... the defender signed with the Union on July 2.
2018 (Orlando): After being traded to Orlando, the defender made 18 appearances for the club (10 starts), notching two assists. He also played in two Open Cup contests, assisting a goal in a 3-0 win over Miami United.
2017 (NYCFC): During his third year in New York, Allen recorded three assists over 15 games (10 starts).
2016 (NYCFC): In what was his best professional season to date, Allen made 24 appearances (19 starts), recording his first MLS goal and adding a career-best six assists. He tied for the MLS lead in assists by a defender, along with Saad Abdul-Salaam, Fabinho, and Taylor Kemp. He also started two matches in the 2016 MLS Cup Playoffs, both against Toronto FC.
2015 (NYCFC): Allen signed with NYCFC two months into their expansion season, making a total of 14 appearances (13 starts) with two assists. He recorded his first MLS assist in his second-ever league match, at the Red Bulls (May 10).
