The Union kicked off the 2020 preseason on Monday in the Philadelphia 76ers new Fieldhouse in Wilmington, Delaware. Fresh arrivals like Matej Oravec, Jack de Vries, and Cole Turner joined captain Alejandro Bedoya, Sergio Santos, and Kai Wagner as Jim Curtin’s side got in their first touches of 2020.
"This is my sixth preseason and everything has evolved to where we are now in a facility that is 50 times better than where we usually tend to start preseason,” Curtin said Monday.
And now you can get your first look at the new squad by heading down to the Fieldhouse on Wednesday, January 22 from 10:00-11:30am.
This will be the only chance to catch the Union before they head down to St. Petersburg-Clearwater, Florida to train and face off in a trio of preseason matches. The club will return for the
2020 Kit Launch Party on February 7th
before returning to Florida for four additional preseason matches. Fans that travel to Florida can sign up for
a youth soccer clinic
on February 18 and
attend an event with players
following the Union's February 19th match against FC Dallas.
