Following their historic run to the MLS NEXT Pro Cup, Philadelphia Union II, in conjunction with MLS NEXT Pro, announced today their 2025 regular season schedule. The Eastern Conference Champions enter the new season after reaching MLS NEXT Pro Cup for the first time in club history.
With their earliest start in MLS NEXT Pro history, Union II kicks off their season on March 9 against New England Revolution II at Gillette Stadium. The season will conclude on MLS NEXT Pro Decision Day on Oct. 5 against New York City FC II at Subaru Park.
The majority of regular season matches, plus all Decision Day matches, Playoffs matches, and MLS NEXT Pro Cup will air live on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV for the third consecutive year. The remainder of regular season matches will stream live on MLSNEXTPro.com. MLS Season Pass is the subscription service from Apple and Major League Soccer that is home to all MLS and Leagues Cup matches and hundreds of MLS NEXT Pro and MLS NEXT matches.
Union II will be one of 29 clubs competing in MLS NEXT Pro this season. The club will play 28 regular season games, 14 home and 14 away, over 30 weeks. Clubs face each divisional opponent a maximum of three times, plus other intraconference rivals to round out this year's schedule.
The 2025 MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs will feature the return of the “pick-your-opponent” format debuted during the 2023 postseason. Eight teams will qualify for the playoffs from each conference, with Seeds No. 1-4 selecting their opponents in the first round and does not include a first round bye for the No. 1 Seed. In the second round, only the highest remaining seed in each conference will select an opponent from any of the remaining three teams. Playoffs feature 15 single elimination matches over the course of four consecutive weekends. Three rounds of matches beginning the weekend of October 17 and culminating with MLS NEXT Pro Cup the weekend of November 7.
With the announcement of Union II’s 2025 schedule, General Admission tickets for all of their home matches at Subaru Park are now available for $17 per ticket. Union Season Ticket Members will receive two free Union II games for the 2025 season, and can purchase additional tickets at $7 each. Tickets can be purchased by clicking here.
