Philadelphia Union II put on an exciting five goal performance at Subaru Park on Thursday night, earning their first decisive win of the 2025 season in dominant fashion. With two goals in the first half and three in the second, Head Coach Ryan Richter's squad took away all three points in a big way.
With the Generation adidas Cup kicking off tomorrow, Philadelphia Union II will next be in action on Wednesday, April 23rd, then they hit the road for a showdown with rivals New York City FC II. Kick off from Belson Stadium is set for 7:30PM with the action on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.

Richter crafted his fourth unique lineup this season, sending out a new crew against Atlanta United 2. For a second straight match, Oliver Semmle started in net with Mike Sheridan the backup on the bench.

21', Kornzeniowski goal! | New to the team his season, forward Stas Korzeniowski has started all four games for Union II, and on Thursday night, he scored his first professional goal at home. In the 21st minute, Cavan Sullivan found David Vazquez, who then sent a beautiful pass to Korzeniowski for a header goal that put Union II on the board.
45'+, Neil Pierre doubles the score | Just before halftime, Homegrown centerback Neil Pierre made it 2-0, scoring another header to increase the lead. CJ Olney was the facilitator this time, sending a pinpoint pass into the box toward Pierre, who dove headfirst to send it past Atlanta United 2's keeper.
Halftime, Union II subs | With a first team game on the horizon, both Pierre and Sullivan were subbed at halftime, replaced by Ramsay Qawasmy and Markus Anderson.
56', Atlanta United 2 goes down a man | Adding to the two goals, Philadelphia found another advantage when Atlanta's Chong Qui was shown his second yellow and sent off.
61', Another change | Richter made another change in the 61st, swapping out Sal Olivas for Eddy Davis III.
71', CJ Olney makes it 3 | The action didn't slow in the second half -- in the 71st minute, CJ Olney scored his first goal of the season for the team's third of the night, capitalizing on a forward pass from Davis III.
75', Nick Pariano PK goal! | Kellan LeBlanc was taken down in the box, giving Union II a chance from the spot in the 75th minute. Nick Pariano took the shot, placing it perfectly to add another to the scoreboard.
76', Kellan LeBlanc makes it 5-0 | A minute later, Kellan LeBlanc broke away and calmy found his shot, hitting the back of the net for goal five of the night.
The match finished 5-1 in favor of Philadelphia Union II for their first three point win of the year.
