After a grueling Saturday afternoon affair, Philadelphia Union Academy’s U13s faced their second match in as many days as they took on an older Sporting Delaware squad on Sunday morning.
“We were a little bit tired from the game on Saturday but the boys did well in the game and completed some good passes in the middle third of the pitch,” U13 Head Coach Kleberson said.
On the scoreboard only one goal crossed the line with Sporting DE’s U14s claiming the 1-0 win in the friendly. The Union’s U13s created chance after chance but were unable to finish off the chances.
The U13s are back in action with another two-match weekend as they face Penn Fusion on Saturday, May 1st in a friendly and then back to MLS NEXT action against PDA on Sunday, May 2nd.
