We're down to the top two goals 2022 BIMBO Goal of the Year after counting all the votes in last week's Instagram selected semifinals. The finals will pit a rematch from July as Julian Carranza battles Jack McGlynn for the crown.
Carranza is looking for revenge after falling by 15 votes in July for the Goal of the Month to McGlynn but his memorable goal against D.C. United has been running away so far in End of Year Voting. The goal came in the first matchup against D.C. United and started off his first hat trick of his career with a via a bicycle kick finish from a Jack Elliott flick.
Typically a bicycle kick would be the hands down winner but homegrown Jack McGlynn put his flag into the turf for the honor with a memorable golazo against the Houston Dynamo. McGlynn's first MLS goal was a special one with a left-footed curler from a free kick chance to make it 2-0 for the Boys in Blue.
