The latest Independence Blue Cross Achievement Unlocked of 2024 took place on Saturday night as Philadelphia Union faced off against Charlotte FC.
Goalkeeper Andrew Rick Semmle earned his Union and league debut with his start in goal. The homegrown keeper became the 16th keeper in club history to start a league match and the first Union Academy graduate between the sticks for MLS side.
With his debut at 18 years, 4 months and 23 days, Rick is the 12th youngest player to start a match for the Union.
