Philadelphia Union II is back in action with a midweek matchup against rivals New York City FC II on Wednesday night. Kick off is set for 7:30PM ET with coverage on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.

Union II is coming off its first regulation victory of the season with a resounding 5-1 victory over Atlanta United 2 on April 10th. The contest saw five different scorers for the Boys in Blue with forward Stas Korzeniowski scoring his first professsional goal with a headed finish off a David Vazquez cross. Homegrown center back Neil Pierre doubled the Union II's lead before the break before the Philly squad erupted for three goals in the second half. CJ Olney, Nick Pariano and Kellan LeBlanc added goals to help give momentum for the Philly side.

Despite there being nearly a two-week gap in league action, members of the Union II side have been in competitive action having competed at the prestigeous Generation adidas Cup with LeBlanc, Jamir Johnson, Zach Mastrodimos and others featuring with the Union Academy side.

New York City FC II has played six games compared to Union II's four which has them fifth in the table overall but just behind the Boys in Blue in points per game. NYCFC II is an even 2-2-2 this season with a single shootout win over Crown Legacy in their season opener. After a strong start to the season in March, NYCFC II is winless in their last three games after falling to Red Bulls II, Carolina Core FC and in a shootout to FC Cincinnati 2 on April 9. 16-year-old forward Seymour Reid currently leads the way for Head Coach Matt Pilkington's side, with the homegrown forward having four goals already in 2025.
