With the Boys in Blue trailing before the halftime whistle, Daniel Gazdag wouldn't quit and it earned him a very special Independence Blue Cross Achievement Unlocked!
Jamiro Monteiro’s served up the corner from the right and it bounced to Gazdag near the back post. His first shot was blocked, but the Hungarian attacker charged to the loose ball and acrobatically nudged it past Joe Willis and into Nashville’s goal. The goal was Gazdag's first in the MLS Cup Playoffs and swung momentum back at Subaru Park.
