The 2022 Major League Soccer season has come to an end and boy did Daniel Gazdag finish it with a statement to earn a huge Independence Blue Cross Achievement Unlocked.
The Hungarian midfielder who already set the single-season scoring record this season rounded out his regular season stat sheet at 22 goals in 2022. Gazdag scored his second hat trick of the season in the Decision Day match against Toronto FC on Sunday afternoon at Subaru Park. The midfielder opened the scoring in the fourth minute of play and then quickly racked up another duo of goals with a penalty kick finish and tremendous run in the 63rd minute to hit 22. The goals mean Gazdag has scored in each of the last seven home matches at Subaru Park as they head into the postseason.
