With the win, Blake improved his all-time record against the Revs to 4-1-1. In those six career appearances against New England, Blake has shutout the Revs four times and hasn’t allowed a goal since the 2015 season.
With the shutout on Saturday night, Blake has gone 414 consecutive minutes without giving up a goal to the Revs. Overall, Blake has allowed just two goals all-time against New England in his six career appearances.
With those incredible numbers, Blake found a way to somehow lower his all-time goals-against average against New England, which now stands at 0.33. Blake also recorded his personal best 10 saves in a match against New England on 9/26/2015 according to Elias.
Blake will have two more opportunities to extend his shutout streak against New England as the Union will square off against the Revs on August 11 at Gillette Stadium, and once more two weeks later on August 25 at Talen Energy Stadium.
