Ahead of Philadelphia Union's match against the rival Red Bulls tonight, we're gearing up by wishing a Happy BIMBO Birthday to homegrown Jack McGlynn.
McGlynn turns 18 today and has shot up the Union pathway since breaking through with the club in 2020 with Union II. Signed a professional out of the Union Academy in March that season, he needed just five months to showcase his talent before earning a homegrown contract with the Boys in Blue. McGlynn made his club debut with the Union during the second leg of the Concacaf Champions League win over Deportivo Saprissa and he followed it up with his first start on the road at Chicago Fire FC. Overall in 2021, McGlynn has appeared six times and started three for the Union during the 2021 MLS season.
