Box Score | Inter Miami CF 4, Philadelphia Union 1

Philadelphia Union faced off against Inter Miami CF on Tuesday night at Subaru Park in the semifinals of the 2023 Leagues Cup, falling 4-1. With the loss, the Union are eliminated with Miami advancing to the Leagues Cup Final. In the first half, Miami’s Josef Martinez opened the scoring in the third minute. Shortly after, Lionel Messi doubled the lead in the 20th minute. Miami then scored in stoppage time of the first half to make it 3-0. Midfielder Alejandro Bedoya scored in the 73rd minute to get one back for Philadelphia. Miami scored their fourth and final goal in the 84th minute to secure the win. 

The Union are back at Subaru Park on Saturday, August 19th (Time TBA), as they seek to secure the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup berth and will face off against either CF Monterrey or Nashville SC.
