Philadelphia Union faced Los Angeles FC in the second leg of the Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League Semifinals on Tuesday night at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, California , falling 3-0. With the loss, the Union are eliminated with Los Angeles FC advancing to the final with a 4-1 aggregate score. LAFC opened the scoring in the 13th minute with a goal by forward Timothy Tillman. The Union went down to 10 men in the 59th minute when defender Olivier Mbaizo received his second yellow card of the match. LAFC midfielder Kwadwo Opoku and forward Denis Bouanga finished their scoring opportunities late in the match to secure the win for Los Angeles.

The Union return to MLS play on Saturday, May 6, where they will face the New York Red Bulls at Red Bull Arena (7:30 p.m. ET / Apple TV).
