Philadelphia Union esports competitor ThiagoCapo12 saw his eMLS season conclude on Friday, falling in the quarterfinals of the eMLS Cup Final.
After an impressive opening day that saw five wins including an overtime thriller, Thiago went 2-2-2 on Thursday to fall just three points out of securing the automatic qualifying spots for the league's biggest event on the calendar. The Union esports competitor was in a win-and-in match against CF Montreal's Loux11 which saw Thiago overcome a 2-0 deficit in the first half for an extra time win to secure the No. 5 seed. The win also saw Thiago qualify for eMLS Cup for the third-consecutive season.
In the 2025 eMLS Cup Final Quartfinals, Thiago battled New York City FC's Yuval in a tight affair with the two sides exchanging chance after chance. Unfortunately for the crowd favorite, the final goal went to the NYC side as Thiago's run ended via a 3-2 loss.
