New York (March 19, 2022) – Philadelphia Union beat New York City FC 2-0 on Saturday afternoon at Yankee Stadium. With the win, the Union remain unbeaten this season and, as of end of the Union’s match, are in first place in the Eastern Conference with ten points. The Union opened up the scoring in the 12th minute with a goal by captain Alejandro Bedoya, assisted by Julián Carranza and Kai Wagner. Midfielder Daniel Gazdag scored his third goal of the season in the 33rd minute, his seventh career MLS goal. Goalkeeper Andre Blake recorded his second consecutive clean sheet of the season on his 175th career start. The win marks the Union's first ever win at Yankee Stadium in franchise history.

The Union are back at home where they will play Charlotte FC on Saturday, April 2nd (7:30 p.m. ET / PHL17).
