Box Score | Philadelphia Union 3, Atlanta United 2

Philadelphia Union faced off against Atlanta United FC on Wednesday night at Subaru Park, winning 3-2. With the win, the Union move into third place in the Eastern Conference with 54 points. The Union found the back of the net three times in the first half. Midfielder Daniel Gazdag opened the scoring in the 39th minute with a bicycle kick. Forward Mikael Uhre doubled the Union’s lead with a right-footed finish after receiving a pass from forward Julian Carranza. Carranza would add to the Union’s lead shortly after, finishing a pass from Gazdag in the box with his right foot in the third minute of stoppage time. In the second half, Atlanta converted on a penalty kick in the 56th minute, cutting the Union’s lead to two. In the 77th minute, Atlanta would score again, cutting the deficit to one. With the win, the Union are unbeaten in seven consecutive matches in the MLS.
