Philadelphia Union played New York City FC on Saturday night at Citi Field Stadium, earning a 3-1 road win . With the win, the Union jump to third place in the Eastern Conference with 24 points. In the first half, New York took the lead first, when Gabriel Pereira opened the scoring. In first half stoppage time, forward Julian Carranza scored a brace in three minutes to put the Union in the lead. In the second half, Midfielder Daniel Gazdag converted the third and final goal from the penalty spot to secure all three points on the road. With the result, the Union extended their league unbeaten streak to seven games.

The Union return to Subaru Park on Wednesday, May 31st (7:30 p.m. ET / Apple TV) to play Charlotte FC.
