Box Score | Philadelphia Union 5, Queretaro F.C. 1

Philadelphia Union played Queretaro F.C. on Wednesday night at Subaru Park, winning 5-1 . Daniel Gazdag scored from outside the 18-yard box in the 30th minute to score the first goal of the game. Queretaro goalkeeper, Alejandro Arana, conceded a penalty kick after fouling Julian Carranza in the 36th minute. Daniel Gazdag converted the penalty kick to extend the lead for the Union. Nathan Harriel scored in the 43rd minute off of a Jesus Bueno corner kick to make it 3-0. Emanuel Gularte conceded a penalty kick after fouling Jesus Bueno in the 62nd minute. Daniel Gazdag converted his second penalty kick of the match to make the score 4-0. Raúl Sandoval scored in the 84th minute to give Queretaro F.C. their only goal of the game. Jack McGlynn scored to make it 5-1 in the 89th minute. 

With the win, the Union will host the first round of 32 at Subaru Park on August 3. Opponent and time of the match will be announced following the conclusion of the East Region matches on July 30.
