Cavan Sullivan's memorable moment with Philadelphia Union II on Saturday night earned another accolade as he was voted the MLS NEXT Pro Goal of the Matchweek.
At just 14 years, 9 months, and 8 days old, Sullivan became the youngest goalscorer in club history and the league's second-youngest goalscorer in a moment that will live on forever.
Union II grabbed the early lead on a Revs II own goal but extended their lead minutes later when midfielder CJ Olney Jr. threaded a pass to Sullivan, who drove the ball deep into the box and launched a right-footed shot to score his first professional goal.
Sullivan and Philadelphia Union II are back in action Thursday evening as they take on Chattanooga FC for the first time. Tickets for Thursday's match can be purchased online by clicking here. Please note that due to a stadium event taking place on the concourse, fans will be able to enter via the IBX Gate with general admission seating taking place in sections 122 through 129.
