Ahead of Philadelphia Union's west coast trip to San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday night, Head Coach Jim Curtin provided an update on the status of the squad.

“Ale continues to work on the side. It will be close again for San Jose but hasn't rejoined the team fully yet.
He's training on the side and working much and able to push off a lot harder than last week so that's a positive. Can he be used as a reserve for San Jose? We'll see. We have that 10 day window where we don't play with the international break so we're weighing risk/reward there. Obviously I'd love to have him off the bench especially with Jose being suspended."
