With preseason underway, MLSSoccer.com's ExtraTime podcast is giving their Top 5 players at each position on the pitch.
Andrew Wiebe and David Goss spoked with Patrice Bernier on the position and Philadelphia Union's No. 6 came in at the No. 4 slot.
"I definitely had [Jose Martinez] on my list," Bernier said. "I didn't know who he was and as you watch games you see it. The question in Philly was how were they going to replace Haris Medunjanin and he fit in perfectly in terms of the style of play the Union want to do. Aggressive and full of pressing, I think he slotted in very well into the Top 5 after his season last year."
