The 2025 Major League Schedule is set, and after months of change, Philadelphia Union have an exciting season on the horizon. Check out 10 fast facts about the Union’s upcoming campaign.
1. 2025 marks the club’s 16th season
2. It'll be the team’s first season with a new head coach since 2014
3. Philadelphia Union have six Western Conference matchups on the schedule, starting with a Subaru Park showdown against St. Louis CITY FC on Saturday, March 22nd -- the match will be the pair's first ever meeting.
4. The team's longest away trip of 2025 is to Vancouver on September 13th. They’ll travel 2,934 miles to British Columbia to face the Whitecaps for the first time since 2018.
5. With the addition of Vancouver to the schedule, Philadelphia Union will visit Canada three times this season, playing Montreal on May 3rd and Toronto on May 28th.
6. Philadelphia Union will travel to Texas twice in 2025 – first to take on FC Dallas on May 31st, then to visit Houston Dynamo on July 19th.
7. Philadelphia has one three-game away stand. In the summer, the team will play at Chicago Fire on June 25th, at Columbus Crew on June 29, and at Nashville SC on July 25th.
8. Philadelphia Union hasn't been beaten by their rivals New York Red Bulls since September 23rd, 2019. By the time they meet the MLS Cup runner-up again at home on July 12th, it will have been 2,119 days without a RBNY loss.
9. The earliest games on the schedule are a pair of 2:30pm matinees -- first against Nashville SC on Sunday, March 16th, then another against New England Revolution on Saturday, September 20th. Both will be played at Subaru Park.
10. Philadelphia Union will play at four 2026 World Cup venues: Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta United), Gillette Stadium (New England Revolution), BMO Stadium (Toronto FC) and BC Place (Vancouver Whitecaps).
