Homegrown Nathan Harriel kicked off his sophomore campaign with a trio of strong performances in March and added another accolade with the defender winning the Ardent Credit Union Save of March.
The 20-year-old stood strong against New York City FC back on March 19th, contributing to the Union's second-consecutive shutout in a 2-0 road win at the defending MLS Cup Champions. NYCFC nearly turned momentum on their side in the second half when Harriel turned in the Save of the Month. 2021 MLS Golden Boot Winner Taty Castellanos connected at the back post with a lofted headed from a corner kick that looked destined for a 2-1 match. Harriel timed his leap at the post, keeping the match scoreless.
