Philadelphia Union in conjuction with U.S. Soccer has announced that homegrown defender Neil Pierre has been selected for U.S. Under-18 Men’s National Team will take on Morocco on March 22 and Norway on March 25 during a training camp in Marbella, Spain from March 17- 25.
The Union center back will see a familiar face running the camp as former Philadelphia Union II head coach Marlon LeBlanc will lead the U-18 MNT as head coach for this training camp. He spent the last five years with Union II, guiding the team to an Eastern Conference championship in MLS NEXT Pro last season. LeBlanc earned his U.S. Soccer Pro License in 2022. Former FC Dallas assistant Kevin Martinez, former New England Revolution assistant and U-15 Boys’ National Team head coach Clint Peay and former Atlanta United FC goalkeeper coach Liam Curran will serve as LeBlanc’s assistants for the camp.
