Philadelphia Union announced today that Jesus Bueno has been called up by Venezuela ahead of the upcoming FIFA international window. The midfielder is part of seven members of the Union to be selected this window with Bueno joining Tai Baribo (Israel), Andre Blake (Jamaica), Daniel Gazdag (Hungary), Danley Jean Jacques (Haiti) as well as Neil Pierre (U.S. U-18) and Frankie Westfield (U.S. U-20).
Bueno joins the Venezuelan National Team for a pair of CONMEBOL World Cup Qualifiers. This is Bueno’s seventh call up for La Vinotinto. Venezuela will play matches against Ecuador (March 20, 5:00 p.m.) and Peru (March 25, 8:00 p.m.).
