Hometown Hero: Sergeant Anthony L. Heath

The Philadelphia Union are pleased to announce that the hometown hero for Saturday night's match  against New England Revolution is Sergeant Anthony L. Heath.


Sergeant Heath has been serving in the United States Marine Corps for over 12 years. Over that time he has been assigned to the Headquarters Battery 3D Battalion 12th Marines located in Okinawa, Japan as well as the Weapons Company 1st Battalion 25th Marines Fort located in Devens, Massachusetts.


Currently, Sergeant Heath is stationed with the 3D Battalion 14th Marines located in Bristol, Pennsylvania.


For his services, he has received many awards such as the National Defense Service Medal, the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, the Navy Unit Commendation, and the Military Outstanding Medal.
