What you need to know
- On Thursday, Philadelphia Union announced its protected list for the 2022 Expansion Draft. All players eligible for selection can be viewed by clicking here.
- St. Louis may select up to five players from the eligible pool of players, claiming only a single player from any one club. During the Draft, St. Louis will be permitted three minutes for each selection with no timeouts. Trades are not permitted while the draft is in progress.
- Austin FC, Atlanta United FC, D.C. United, LAFC, and New York City FC are all exempt from having players selected for the 2022 draft after having players selected by Charlotte FC last year.
