High school students from The Chester Charter Scholars Academy that are members of the iAM Project got to learn more about the inner workings of Boeing during a tour of the company's Ridley Park factory on Wednesday morning.
Students got to interact directly with Boeing team members and engineers, who shared an overview of the company, as well as how their individual experiences and education helped them navigate their careers.
Philadelphia Union Foundation announced the iAM Project in 2021 in partnership with BIMBO Bakeries, Lincoln Financial Group, Neumann University, and the Durant Family Foundation. The iAM Project leverages a network of inspirational speakers, academic and professional mentors, innovative links to industry, universities and internship providers to provide multi-year training and opportunities.
