For the fourth time in 2021, Philadelphia Union defender Jack Elliott has been named to Major League Soccer's Team of the Week.
Elliott led the Union defense that collected its 11th clean sheet of the season as they took over second place in the Eastern Conference with a 1-0 win over Nashville SC. Elliott completed over 81% of his passes on the night and led the team with eight clearances and a pair of interceptions.
Elliott previously was named to the MLS Team of the Week on May 31st, on June 24th and on July 19th. Overall the Union have had 16 selections the league's weekly honors that are voted upon by the MLSSoccer.com editorial staff.
Philadelphia Union returns to action on Wednesday night with battle against Toronto FC. Kick off from north of the border is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.
