After delivering the game-tying goal on Saturday night, Philadelphia Union midfielder Jack McGlynn has earned a spot on the MLS Team of the Matchday bench the league announced on Monday afternoon.
McGlynn's goal in the 79th minute extended the Boys in Blue unbeaten form on the road as he helped the squad to a 2-2 draw at rivals D.C. United over the weekend. With the Union operating out wide and looking to potentially cross a volley into the box, the Union homegrown took matters into his own boot with a screamer from 35 yards out that beat the D.C. defense and keeper.
