After earning his first cap with the Venezuelan National Team, Philadelphia Union midfielder Jose "El Brujo" Martinez earned his first start for La Vinotinto in the COPA America opener against South American giants Brazil.
Brujo played all 90 minutes in the midfield for Venezuela but Brazil were just too powerful on the night with a 3-0 win to open the Group Stage.
El Brujo and Venezuela are back on the pitch when they face off against Columbia on Thursday, June 17th.
