While there were only three MLS regular season contests in September, there wasn't a shortage of amazing assists to contend for the Primepoint Assist of the Month. It's homegrown Jack McGlynn taking on Kai Wagner for the monthly accolade.
McGlynn's nominated play came on the road at rival New York Red Bulls with the match deadlocked after the first half. Looking to spark an attack, McGlynn showcased his impressive footwork with a quick flick to get around the Red Bull defender that tried to slow him down. Calm, cool and collected, he threaded the middle of the Red Bulls defense into the path of Uhre who tucked it into the bottom left corner to put the Boys in Blue ahead against their rivals.
Meanwhile Wagner's assist came in front of the Union faithful and the River End. Coming from a set piece this time, Wagner kept on creating goals as he connected with Jack Elliott perfectly from the corner kick to send the Union fans home happy once more.
