Philadelphia Union return to Subaru Park this weekend coming off an exciting and energetic three-goal and three-point performance against rival New York Red Bulls and seek to continue that momentum as they host New England Revolution on Saturday at 7:30 PM for Kick Childhood Cancer Night. The match as always will be broadcast on PHL17 and PhiladelphiaUnion.com.
Subaru Park is going gold with nets, corner flags, and awareness ribbons on all the jerseys and game balls to raise awareness for pediatric cancer. Kick Childhood Cancer Night is always a special campaign for players and the pediatric cancer patients they pair up with each year through Kisses For Kyle. After spending some special virtual time with the kids in the days leading up to the game, the Union have turned their focus to preparing for the Revs.
Saturday’s contest will be the third time the two sides have met up in 2020. The Union knocked the Revs out of the MLS is Back Tournament and then came away with a point in their second matchup after a scoreless draw at Gillette Stadium.
The Revs recently welcomed back Lee Nguyen after a few pit stops at LAFC and Inter Miami CF. Nguyen is in the top 10 for the Revs in nearly every major category, including goals, starts, assists, to name a few, and is a member of the Revolution’s All-Time Team. After a big win against Chicago Fire and an old friend rejoining their roster, the Revs will look to come out strong at Subaru Park. The Revs are surprisingly more successful on the road than at their home turf thus far this season picking up all three wins away from Gillette Stadium…meanwhile, the Union have not lost a match at Subaru Park in 2020.

Jakob Glesnes: Jakob hasn’t been a consistent starter, but when he is on the pitch, he produces and was awarded with Team of the Week after his performance against New York.
Teal Bunbury: Coming off of a brace and big win against Chicago, the veteran will look to carry the team’s momentum against a strong Philly backline.
