Today's UNIBET Day in Union history took place four years ago as Philadelphia Union drafted center back Jack Elliott at the 2017 MLS SuperDraft.
Considered by many one of the biggest steals in recent MLS SuperDrafts, the Union took a flyer on the 6'6" defender from West Virginia University with the No. 77 selection in the draft. A fourth-round selection, Elliott was a finalist for the MLS Rookie of the Year after making 29 starts for the Boys in Blue where he added a goal and an assist.
In four seasons with the Union, Elliott has made 98 appearances, 89 starts and is a scoring threat inside the box with six career goals on just 49 attempted shots.
