Union trade SuperDraft Priority rights over goalkeeper Francesco Montali to San Jose Earthquakes in exchange for $50,000 in General Allocation Money

CHESTER, Pa. (February 21, 2025) – Philadelphia Union announced today that the club has acquired $50,000 in 2026 General Allocation Money (GAM) from San Jose Earthquakes in exchange for the SuperDraft priority rights over goalkeeper Francesco Montali.

The Union begin their 2025 MLS campaign against Orlando City SC at Inter & Co Stadium on Saturday, February 22 (7:30 p.m. ET / Apple TV).

TRANSACTION: Philadelphia Union acquire guaranteed $50,000 in 2026 GAM in exchange for the SuperDraft Priority rights over goalkeeper Francesco Montali to San Jose Earthquakes.
