Philadelphia Union II Announce Preseason Friendlies
Three closed-door friendlies scheduled as club prepares for USL Championship slate
Chester, Pa. (February 5, 2020) – Philadelphia Union II today announced the club’s preseason schedule, with three closed-door matches highlighting the club's training ahead of an exciting season in the USL Championship.
With official training just underway at YSC Sports in Wayne, Pa., Union II will cap off the opening leg of preseason with a match against New York Red Bulls II on Friday, February 7th at the Red Bull Training Complex. The club will then join the first team for training in Clearwater, Florida, highlighted by a closed-door scrimmage against MLS-newcomer Inter Miami CF at 10 a.m. at the Joe DiMaggio Sports Complex. The final friendly ahead of their 2020 USL Championship home opener will take place at the Power Training Complex on Saturday, February 29th against Hartford Athletic. All matches are closed to the public.
All preseason friendlies are in preparation for Union II's regular season opener against rival Loudoun United on Saturday, March 7th. Kick off from Talen Energy Stadium is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and the match will be broadcast on ESPN+.
Tickets for the entire Union II home schedule at Talen Energy Stadium are available today for online purchase.
Fans can purchase single-game tickets in general admission sections for $15 and in reserved sections for $23 per match.
