CHESTER, Pa. (September 8, 2023) – Philadelphia Union II announced today that the club has loaned forward Jose Riasco to Uruguayan Primera División side Club Atlético Boston River for the remainder of the 2023 season.
Union II acquired Riasco from Deportivo La Guaira on March 23, 2022, making his debut coming on as a substitute on April 24, 2022, playing the final 10 minutes in the match against Chicago Fire FC II. In 26 games played (17 starts) in MLS NEXT Pro, Riasco has registered four goals and added two assists to his tally. He scored his first goal for the club on August 14, 2022 against Inter Miami CF II. Internationally, Riasco has represented Venezuela’s U20 National Team, making nine appearances and scoring one goal.
