Playoffs | Philadelphia Union 3, New England Revolution 1

Philadelphia Union faced off against New England Revolution on Saturday night at Subaru Park in the first match of the 2023 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs Round One Best-of-3 series, winning 3-1. In the first half, midfielder Daniel Gazdag opened the scoring with a penalty kick goal in the 19th minute. With his fourth-ever playoff goal, Gazdag is now the Union’s all-time leading playoff goalscorer. Forward Mikael Uhre doubled the Union’s lead in the 26th minute, his first-ever playoff goal. In the 37th minute, Homegrown defender Nathan Harriel scored his first career playoff goal to extend the Union’s lead to 3-0. New England’s Gustavo Bou scored in the 68th minute, cutting the deficit to two.

Philadelphia Union travel to Gillette Stadium to face New England Revolution in the second match of the 2023 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs Round One Best-of-3 series on Wednesday, November 8 (7:00 p.m. / FS1, Fox Deportes, Apple TV).
