The Philadelphia Union Foundation is auctioning off special items to support the Daniel Yallah Trust Fund, which provides money for Union academy player Daniel Yallah’s siblings. Daniel recently passed away after battling liver cancer. He signed a one-day contract with the Union first team earlier this season and his devotion to the beautiful game, his brother, and his sister left an indelible mark on all who met him.
As part of Major League Soccer’s Kick Childhood Cancer month, Philadelphia Union partnered with Dez Customs to design special items for Philly athletes, including Union players Marco Fabian and Jack Elliott along with a game-used stick from Philadelphia Flyers winger Jakub Voracek. In addition to the custom cleats and stick, fans can bid on a signed captain Alejandro Bedoya KCC warmup top.
Bidding is open until 7 p.m. on Giving Tuesday, which falls on December 3rd this year.
