Another win from the Eastern Conference leaders has Philadelphia Union ranked as the second-best team in Major League Soccer according to the latest edition of MLSSoccer.com's Power Rankings.
The Boys in Blue knocked off Houston Dynamo Sunday night at Talen Energy Stadium, with Team of the Week honoree Jack Elliott finding the back of the net late to send the home fans home happy and with three points. While the latest edition once again questions who will be the top scorer, Kacper Przybylko is making a push up the league rankings after his 11th goal of the year. He might not be an internationally known designated player, Przybylko finds himself tied for fifth in the chase for the 2019 Golden Boot. Tied with him, D.C.'s Wayne Rooney.
Jim Curtin's and the squad return for a busy stretch against the Eastern Conference this weekend with a road trip to Chicago Fire. Kick off from the Windy City is set for 8 p.m. ET on Saturday, August 17 and you can catch the action live with Tommy Smyth and JP Dellacamera on PHL17.
