Philadelphia Union showed they are one of the best clubs in North America as they swept past Costa Rican powerhouse Deportivo Saprissa to move on to the Quarterfinals of the 2021 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League in their first-ever appearance in the tournament. The Boys in Blue followed it up with a 4-1 aggregate scoreline behind a 3-0 road win at Atlanta United FC to get to the Semifinals as the last remaining club in MLS.
