Philadelphia Union will battle Colorado Rapids in their first road match of the 2018 season, with kick off slated for 9 p.m. ET. Below is the starting lineup and notes.

  • Andre Blake enters this weekend tied for the league lead in shutouts with two, despite playing in fewer matches. Blake is also the only regular starting goalkeeper in MLS to own a perfect 100 save percentage, and not allow a goal this season.
  • Keegan Rosenberry will make his 48th career MLS regular season start tonight in Colorado for the Union.  
  • Jack Elliott has made 32 consecutive MLS regular season starts for Philadelphia Union, after being selected in the fourth round of the 2017 MLS SuperDraft.
  • At only 19 years old, Auston Trusty will make his third consecutive start for the Union. A clean sheet will be the third consecutive for Trusty and the Union backline.
  • Matt Real is making his MLS debut against Colorado tonight. A Drexel Hill, PA native, Real made 17 appearances in 2017 for Bethlehem Steel FC. Real scored one goal and had one assist in 1,607 minutes.
  • Since 2017, Haris Medunjanin has recorded more assists than anyone on the Union roster. Medunjanin has dished out 12 assists since joining the club, the next closest teammate in that span is CJ Sapong with six.
  • Dating back to October, the Union own a record of 3-1-1 with Alejandro Bedoya as Captain. In those last five contests, Bedoya has recorded a goal or an assist in three of those matches.
  • Fabian Herbers earned his first career MLS assist at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park against the Rapids on May 28, 2016. Herbers would go on to recorded seven total assists in his first MLS season, which was the most by in rookie in the league in 2016.
  • Borek Dočkal made his debut for the Union against Columbus after joining on loan from Chinese club Henan Jianye. Dočkal played 77 minutes and recorded two shots.
  • As a member of the Chicago Fire, David Accam scored against the Colorado Rapids on May 17th, 2017. Accam will start his third consecutive game for the Union.
  • On March 7, 2015, CJ Sapong made his debut for the Philadelphia Union against the Colorado Rapids. In the 2017 match against Colorado, Sapong scored a penalty in the Union’s 2-1 victory.
