It's a battle of two big goals battling it out for September's BIMBO Goal of the Month! Voting for the accolade is now live and will last for just 24 hours.
The first nominee comes from the captain Alejandro Bedoya who went all out to score against Orlando City SC. Playing out of the flank, Mbaizo dropped off a pass for Jose Martinez as he drifted out wide. The Venezuelan switched the attack with a cross to the other flank where Wagner was waiting. Seeing navy shirts in the middle of the box, the left back sent in a left-footed cross that was smashed home via a diving header from captain Bedoya.
He'll be facing off against leading scorer Daniel Gazdag and his goal on the road at New York Red Bulls. Starting as a hustle play in the air from Julian Carranza, the forward played a quick one-two combo with Uhre and then fed Gazdag into the box. With Duncan right on his heels, the Hungarian unleashed a left-footed shot from the center of the box that snuck in for his 18th goal to continue the charge for the Golden Boot.
