Union Defense
Blake has started 12 games for the Union so far this season with the three-time MLS Goalkeeper of the Year racking up 29 saves and four clean sheets. The Jamaican is second in the league currently amongst goalkeepers that have started at least 10 matches in league play with only 10 goals allowed and is no doubt a must vote for any Union fan as he looks for his fifth All-Star Game. Wagner has been the best left back in Major League Soccer since he joined in 2019 and is well deserving of his third-consecutive appearance. The German left back has made 11 starts and played key roles in three shutouts while only conceding eight fouls. A key piece on both ends of the field, Wagner had a breakout performance in the U.S. Open Cup with a pair of goals and then bagged another against Colorado. Click here to cast your vote.
Elliott has been another strong piece of the Union defense with 17 interceptions in 13 starts for the Boys in Blue. The center back has played a role in four shutouts in 2023 and delivered quite an assist to jump start the comeback at New York City FC with a beautiful assist over the top to Julian Carranza. Somehow Elliott hasn't made it to a MLS All-Star game so be sure to help him out by casting your vote! Click here to cast your vote.
Glesnes is pushing for his second straight appearance in the MLS All-Star Game after getting minutes in Minnesota last summer. The defending MLS Defender of the Year leads the team with 23 interceptions and has played every single league minute for the Boys in Blue. The Norwegian center back is another easy choice for a Union fan so don't forget to vote early and often. Click here to cast your vote.
