- Head Coach Jim Curtin makes one change to the Starting XI from the club's 2-0 win on the road at New York City FC with homegrown Quinn Sullivan getting the start.
- Sullivan makes his first start of the 2022 season and his fifth in MLS regular season play for his career. Sullivan's last regular season start was on October 16th, 2021, on the road at CF Montreal.
- Left back Kai Wagner earns his 80th career start for the Union in regular season action.
- Forward Julian Carranza gets his 15th MLS start tonight for the Union. The start against Charlotte FC also marks the 21-year-old's 45th appearance in league play.
