Philadelphia Union kicks off its XV season in front of the Union faithful as they host Chicago Fire at Subaru Park. Kick off is set for 7:40PM ET with coverage on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV as well as on 97.5 The Fanatic app, and website.

  • The Union make one change to the Starting XI from Tuesday's Concacaf Champions Cup Round One match at Deportivo Saprissa
  • Goalkeeper Oliver Semmle makes his Union debut with his start in net. He comes the 15th goalkeeper to start a MLS match for the Boys in Blue.
  • The Union lineup ties the club record of homegrowns to start the league opener with Nathan Harriel, Quinn Sullivan and Jack McGlynn selected to start. The last time three homegrowns started at MLS opener was 2020 at FC Dallas with Matt Real, Mark McKenzie and Brenden Aaronson.
  • Daniel Gazdag makes his 90th appearance for the Union.
